Jack and Sean
Jack and Sean are two geldings that were relinquished to the Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth in 2008. We were very lucky to have the opportunity to join the foster scheme in 2010 to give Jacks and Sean a new home.
Jack, is a fawn/brown colour and Sean a lighter cream/grey; they settled in very well and soon got to know their surroundings. We have a number of different paddocks for them to roam in when the weather is fine, and a large covered yard area with access to their stables when the weather is not so good. Donkeys are generally affectionate, good-natured and stoical animals and very different characters to horses. They are the most wonderful pets, friendly and curious and willing to learn. Jack and Sean love meeting our guests or talk to anyone who is passing!
We have a pathway along the side of the main paddock so our guests can meet the boys.
